Silent Outreach Ministries

Silent Outreach Ministries is a Christian Deaf ministry headquartered in central North Carolina. We seek to reach and connect with the Deaf community in our area and beyond as an extension of the Great Commission: To go and make disciples.

Our biggest outreach and discipleship event is our annual Silent Men Conference (formerly Silent Men Camp), a weekend of fellowship and fun focused on developing godly men of all ages.

The Greatest Serves All

Mark 10:43-44: "...but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister; and whosoever would be first among you, shall be servant of all." Silent Outreach Ministries is dedicated to serving the Deaf community in the Triad (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point, NC) and around the world.

Go and Make Disciples

Matthew 28:18-19 - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." SOM is fine with giving a man a fish. Sometimes that's all they need. But teaching a man to fish--or in this case, bringing them to Jesus--is at the core of our ministry. Feed the hungry, both in body and spirit!
